Ahad founded Neurobane at 18 after experiencing firsthand the failures of modern psychiatric care during a four-year struggle with mental health treatment. Determined to fix a broken system, he spent three years conducting neurotech research and built Neurobane's first proof of concept from the ground up.

Under his leadership, Neurobane has secured over $324M in letters of intent and established research partnerships with leading neuroscience labs. Ahad leads cross-functional research teams alongside top neuroscience advisors, working to replace outdated psychiatric screening methods with AI-powered, brain-based diagnostics that address America's 65% psychiatric misdiagnosis and misprescription rate.

Ahad's vision and dream is to see psychiatric care become accurate, affordable, and accessible, destigmatizing mental health care for good.

Dr. Garrett brings more than 25 years of scientific excellence and interdisciplinary expertise to Neurobane. As PI of the Lifespan Neural Dynamics Group (LNDG) at the Max Planck UCL Centre for Computational Psychiatry and Ageing Research in Berlin for 13 years, he led a team of computational and clinically‑oriented neuroscientists to unravel why individuals diverge over time in brain function, behavior, and psychiatric symptomatology. His research agenda centers on precision, multi‑omic, and computational approaches that marry large‑scale data with individual-level insights into brain aging and mental‑health disorders.

A true polyglot of the scientific world, Dr. Garrett navigates and leads seamlessly between brain‑mapping, human behavior, neuropharmacology, data science/statistics/machine learning, and computational modeling. While publishing continuously in the top neuroscience journals in the field, his work also reaches beyond academia, earning coverage in outlets such as Wired, The Times (London), Yahoo News, and MedicalXpress. He has served for more than 20 years as a data‑science and statistics consultant, previously heading the Cluster Computing Working Group at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin. He is renowned for deploying uni- and multivariate methods on massive datasets, building high‑performance pipelines in multiple dev environments, and translating those tools into actionable solutions for both commercial and public‑sector partners.

Neuroscientist and Engineer with a hands‑on mindset Dr. Louviot leads Neurobane’s technology platform to transform psychiatric care.

Trained by worldclass scientists and physicians in France, he earned his Ph.D. at Université de Lorraine and CNRS (France’s premier national research institute). There, he mastered human neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and rigorous hospital based research, gaining valuable clinical experience along the way.

Following a postdoc at Weill Cornell Medicine, during which he identified novel EEG biomarkers linked to processing speed performance in neurotypical participants, Dr. Louviot joined the Child Mind Institute and the Nathan Kline Institute for Psychiatric Research as a Scientific Software Engineer and Resident EEG Specialist. He studied and developed machine learning models in the purpose to predict fMRI Brain States from EEG data.

Beyond the lab bench, Dr. Louviot lives and breathes technology. He is a skilled technician who instinctively reaches for a soldering iron, designs custom PCBs, programs micro‑controllers.
